I think you are right! It is realistic!
They come from fidderent environments so it's logical to carry some different ways and perspectives!
When Sho brought Masaki to the party he still felt the need to pprove himself to them, he hadn't get over it and Masaki was feeling uncertain and chose silence...
Sho luckily realized his mistake and went after Masaki independent! ;)
